The Succeeding Together project is a mutual support and development project for women who are thinking of establishing a business or moving back into the workplace.
The Succeeding Together project will offer women the opportunity to
• Take part in five monthly developmental sessions
• Use the online My Work Search tool
• Get involved with women’s business networks such as WiRE
• Access webinars and other relevant online support
• Attend the annual Women’s Enterprise Day
• Be introduced to business advice services such as Business Lincolnshire, NBV and the Princes Trust
• Share experiences via a restricted Facebook group
• Have fun and develop their confidence
The project is part of a wider programme of support available in Lincolnshire thanks to Big Lottery and ESF funding. This programme is called MOVE – is a 3-year project aiming to help people into paid work. It is completely free, and independent of Job Centre Plus.
A network of 24 organisations are working together across the whole of Lincolnshire, North and North East Lincolnshire – not just in the city and the bigger towns. Financial help is available for travel, childcare and respite care costs, making it even easier to take part. It’s not just about sending you on a course and then leaving you to it: you will have ongoing support from an advisor who will be there every step of the way as you identify what you would like to do, and how to do it. Your advisor can make referrals to other partner organisations, so you can benefit from a wide range of learning, skills and work-related activities.
